Mission

What is the "mission" of DFM?  What is God's word through DFM?

Because the end is near God's children must change their priorities and the focus of their time, energy and finances.  It is time for a change from the status quo!  If we know we are in the last days, it is certain Satan knows we are in the last days!  It is his job to keep us from accomplishing what God has asked of us.  He has inflicted upon the children of God a spirit of procrastination.  We need to wake-up, rise-up and wage the war before us!  The old way of doing things will not work in this age.  It is time for the Saints to get radical, to get serious about one thing and one thing only: winning back those who are lost and those held captive!  We need to refuse to let the devil hold sway over our family and friends any longer.  God has promised to pour out a power in the last days that hasn't been seen on Earth before.  It is through that power that He intends for us to succeed in fulfilling the great commission and win this war!

For too long believers have been focused on issues not related to the great commission or to reaping the harvest.  Jesus told us to be aware of the signs of the times that warn us it is the season of the last days.  Too many signs to be enumerated here show us we are absolutely in that season and a cry is going up across the world warning God's children  that we are in the last days.  It is time we hear that cry and ask ourselves "if there were only days or weeks left, what should our highest priority be?  What should we be doing with our time and resources?"  There can be only one answer: our priority must be to work ceaselessly to win the non-believers and persuade those who have wandered away that now is the hour for salvation.  It is time to reclaim from the enemy all our people he holds captive.  That can be our only focus, our highest priority; there is no time left for procrastination.

Prosperity doctrines are no longer relevant or important.  While it is certain God wants to take care of your needs and the desires of your heart, it is also certain that He has told us "Do  not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."   (Matthew 6: 19-21)

God's Word tells us  "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."  (II Corinthians 10: 3-5)  He gives us instructions in His Word, how to wage this warfare for the souls of our family, friends and even strangers.  In Jude: 20-23 He says: "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  On some have compassion, making a distinction, but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh."  DFM has been appointed by God in this hour to go to war, with the mission to win back those who are lost and to raise up others to carry this fight to the farthest corners of the earth.

God's Word promises in the last days the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit the world has ever seen.  "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh."  (Acts 2:17)  Every spiritual gift ever promised, including all nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, will be operating in these last days.  This outpouring will empower us to win souls at an unprecedented rate.  It is through these spiritual gifts that we are able to fulfill our mission.  God's Word says no man knows the day or hour, but he shall know the season.  We are in that season!  Please join DFM, in both prayer and in the war, for we don't know how quickly this season will end!
